Kizette, Tamara's daughter, was a model and inspiration on several occasions. Experts agree that in her portraits, the artist shows a greater emotional charge and even tenderness, far from the nonchalant body language typical of her characters.
In this vertical portrait, the young girl is depicted full-length and seated next to a balcony. In her right hand, she appears to be holding something that isn't there. Warm lighting floods her expression, the fabrics, and the background cityscape, which, bustling, contrasts with the placidity and innocence of the child.
